New Shop New look!

Wendy Schulte

If you have been following our Instagram you’ll notice a new logo popping up on our products and packaging! I am so happy to finally introduce our new logo and symbol representing our company.

This new design was bouncing around my dreams for months before I got the courage to make this huge change to my heart and soul. You’ll also be seeing our products getting makeovers and more options to get refills and lower waste in our shop. My ultimate goal is to offer the option for our customers to get their products with compostable packaging while sticking with my top priority of making your skin care products without any harsh chemicals.

Another great upgrade is our new labels for our essential oil rollers which are now printed with a laminate coating to prevent the printing from being rubbed off.

I cannot thank you enough for your continued support and love of my products. Its more than I can express in words and I promise to continue working hard on making quality products while upholding this company’s values.

Until next time!

Good-bye Stoneridge Mall. Hello, Downtown Pleasanton!

The first day Good Common Sense Naturals opened for the soft opening June 1, 2019

The first day Good Common Sense Naturals opened for the soft opening June 1, 2019

If you know me you’ll know that I am a person who doesn’t like to sugarcoat anything. There were a lot of questions surrounding our quick and sudden exit from our Stoneridge mall location.

So here’s the truth: We were evicted by the mall’s management because another retailer, who we now know is Innisfree, offered to pay more money for our location.

I felt a small amount of excited envy though when I heard that they are a fairly natural company - but a little more research and I was once again disappointed (yet another company that claims to be 100% natural and yet uses PEG, *insert internal scream here* fragrance, *damn it* and Antimony?! *what the &#^$*)

Ok, deep breath, and I’ll get off that soap box.

You wont believe how amazing our new bath salt bar looks now!

As soon as we got word that this was happening, we quickly searched for a new spot and found ourselves being graciously greeted with open arms by the PDA - Pleasanton Downtown Association. So we gathered all our resources, and with quite a bit of elbow grease from the hubby and extra long hours form me and my team, we were able to open right on schedule!

I giggled when I saw my gloves were stuck standing on their own!

We are so excited to still offer ‘will call’ pick up for our online orders and $1 shipping to all California residents.

We hope to see you soon at our beautiful new location at 614 Main Street in Downtown Pleasanton!

Why do you do it?

Wendy Schulte

I would like to start our Holiday edition blog by sharing a view of how I started my business and how even with countless hours of work, failed attempts, and unfinished ideas I’ve stayed motivated... it’s because of YOU!

Our customers are one in a million and I love every single one.

I am asked daily... why? Well, there was a need. A need in my own life, and I knew that I wasn’t the only person in the world having reactions to unknown chemicals in products.
